Drab Doesn't Sell

You want to sell your photography to travel markets? Here are three tips to help you.

Don't try to sell images that are more than five years old. Clothes change, vehicles change, hairstyles change. Unless you intentionally want your shots to depict a certain period, submit up-to-date images.

Your photography should be colorful and exciting. Drab doesn't sell. So shoot the woman in the bright red dress, not the guy in the gray flannel suit.

Your shots should draw the viewers in, making them wish they were there. Shoot exotic street scenes, people in native costumes, markets brimming with local produce, the city skyline at dusk.
