Lens Protection
Dropped your lens cap? Can't find it in the snow? Or
can't remember which pocket or pouch you last tucked it
into?
Let it go! Good riddance! Instead of searching yet again
for that cap, protect your lens with a filter. A good
protective filter that absorbs ultra-violet rays without
affecting colors is the UV filter. It can also be used for
shooting black and white. And since the filter is
screw-mounted onto your lens, you don't have to worry
about it falling off.
