DON'T KEEP THE JUNK!

When editing your travel slides, there's always the temptation to keep slides that are just slightly out of focus or just slightly overexposed. Don't give in! Travel photobuyers want to see only photos that are in sharp focus and correctly exposed.

It's better to submit great travel slides to a photobuyer or stock agent than pad your submission with any less-than-best shots. Remember, whether dealing with buyers new to you or long-time clients, you always want to give them reason to associate solid quality photographic skills with you.

Also remember that your second-best editing tool is a high-quality loupe or magnifier. Holding a slide up to the light and viewing it with the naked eye is just not good enough. Your first best editing tool is the wastebasket and the will to use it.
