Breaking Into Stock Photography
A weekend workshop with Brian Yarvin and Mike Karlsson

Learning about stock photography can be scary. It's an industry that's flooded with rumors, fantasies, and misinformation. As professionals who have been shooting and selling stock images for decades, Brian and Mike are both energized by the excitement of newcomers and disappointed by their misconceptions.

For a long time now, Brian had been hoping to create a workshop where experienced stock photographers can sit down with beginners and help them work through the myths and get their businesses up and running. Thanks to the help of http://www.photosource.com/index.phpPhotosource International and The Washington School of Photography, this workshop will become reality.

On the weekend of May 15th and 16th 2004, Photosource's Mike Karlsson and Brian Yarvin will be conducting the first "Breaking Into Stock Photography" workshop at the Washington School of Photography in Bethesda Maryland. During this weekend, they won't pull any punches. We'll talk about what's need to engage the market today -- not last year or twenty years ago -- and we'll cover methods that work for normal people, not superstars or celebrities.

Every person who joins us for this workshop will get at least six hours of classroom time and personal evaluations from Mike and Brian. If you're there, you'll leave with a solid business plan and a clear direction.

Saturday, May 15, and Sunday, May 16; 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuition: $235
