Q. What is PhotoSourceFolio?
A. That's the image showcase part of PhotoSource International. Here, participating photographers can have 6 images displayed. This allows the prospective photobuyer to see firsthand your unique vision, technique, and expertise, and to get a feel for your work in general. It also can eliminate the need to send samples and/or sell sheets to the photobuyer.

Q. How do I get on PhotoSourceFolio?
A. Go to www.photosource.com/products/psfqa.htm. There is a modest fee of $4.95/month to be a member and have your own web page. The annual rate is $59, but if you sign up for two years, you can save $19. The 2-year fee is $99.

Q. What is the cost for the 6-pack of photos on my personal PhotoSourceFolio page?
A. Just $4.95/month via charge card, or $59.00/year via check or charge card. So, for the complete package, including your PhotoSourceBank listings (where photobuyers find you) and your PhotoSourceFolio page (where you show off your talent), the cost is less than $10/month, less than the cost of an average lunch out. Order both PhotoSourceBank and PhotoSourceFolio at the same time and receive a 10% discount.

Q. How do I get my personal Folio page set up?
A. There are several options. Full information can be found online at www.photosourcefolio.com, or by sending an e-mail to info@photosourcefolio.com (autoresponse mailbox), but here are the basics: You send us your 6 photos (35-mm [no glass mounts] up to 4" x 5" dupes, or prints up to 8 x 12 only, please) and we'll scan them ($25 scanning fee). Alternatively, you can mail us a 3-1/2" (IBM-formatted) disk containing the digital files, an LS120 Superdisk, a 100Mb ZIP disk, a CD-ROM, or have us get them from your own website or other Internet source.  You can even e-mail them to us.  It's your choice.  If you do choose to send digital files, please use a minimum resolution of 150 dpi, a minimum overall size of 200 x 300 pixels, save as IBM-compatible .JPG files (Kodak PhotoCD is OK too).  We have found that greater success is usually achieved if we scan the images.
